Job summary

THE/STUDIO is seeking a head of operations to work remotely on a full-time independent contractor basis. You will oversee manufacturing, the global factory network, and customer success, applying systems thinking and data-driven leadership to scale our operational footprint.

The role blends supply chain excellence with SaaS-enabled processes and AI-driven optimization. We expect 6+ years in operational leadership within fast-growing startups or ecommerce, strong cross-functional collaboration,

Qualifications

• 6+ years of operational leadership experience, preferably in high-growth startups, ecommerce, or tech-forward supply chain.
• Ability to design scalable processes by linking product, engineering, marketing, and sales.
• Strong data fluency and KPI-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Manufacturing, Global Factory Network, Customer Service, and Customer Success.
• Treat operations as an engineering problem using AI and automation to scale throughput.
• Map and optimize the customer journey from quote to delivery with a product mindset.
• Lead and scale distributed teams across functions with a culture of excellence and speed.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to build fast, flawless workflows.
