Job summary

JBM Recruitment searches for a General Manager to oversee the Generator Division’s installations, scheduling, and customer communications from turnover to final completion. The role focuses on eliminating bottlenecks, improving installation methods, and maintaining safety and quality while driving cost efficiency.

The candidate will manage supervisors, coordinate with estimators, and monitor financial performance to enable scalable operations during peak demand.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in high-volume field operations or comparable home-services operations.
• Strong scheduling, logistics, process-improvement, and customer-service discipline.
• Comfortable with permitting, inspections, municipality requirements, and job closeout processes.
• Able to read financial and operating data and translate into field actions.

Responsibilities

• Own overall operational performance of generator installations from turnover to completion.
• Direct scheduling for every generator installation and monitor productivity by crew.
• Collaborate with estimators to ensure jobs are sold, scoped and ordered correctly.
• Drive continuous reduction of installation time while ensuring safety, quality and code compliance.
• Develop surge-capacity plans to scale production during extreme demand.
