Job summary

Hennig is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate all project elements from sale to warranty, ensuring profitability, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction for heavy industrial generator back-up power equipment. You will collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Procurement, Services and possibly construction to align objectives across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; 5+ years in applicable roles is preferred.
• Strong project management and scheduling experience across full lifecycle of projects.
• Familiarity with factory systems, Lean Manufacturing, Kanban, JIT, DFM.
• Experience with multiple manufacturing processes (stamping, machining, weld, paint, assembly).
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all elements of projects to meet deadlines for installation and start-up at customer sites.
• Lead project meetings and coordinate with engineering, procurement, services, and construction as needed.
• Maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation; manage risks and opportunities.
• Oversee procurement activities and ensure timely delivery of equipment and services.
• Manage testing, installation, start-up, and customer acceptance activities.
