Job summary

Semgrep is seeking a Head of Field Engineering to lead its Commercial and Enterprise Solutions Engineering organization during a pivotal growth phase. You will define how the global Solutions Engineering function scales, build a consistent operating model, and raise the standard of technical sales execution to meet increasingly complex customer needs.

You will partner with Sales leadership to drive revenue, improve win rates, and deliver consistent execution across high-velocity Commercial deals

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of Solutions Engineering leadership, preferably in high-growth environments.
• Experience leading globally distributed technical sales teams.
• Experience managing teams supporting both Commercial and Enterprise motions.
• Proven track record hiring, developing, and retaining top technical sales talent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale Semgrep's Solutions Engineering organization globally.
• Own technical pipeline health, deal strategy, and forecast accuracy with Sales leadership.
• Define and execute go-to-market and product strategy with cross-functional partners.
• Establish metrics and cadences for pipeline reviews, coaching, and forecasting.
• Drive onboarding, ramp time, and career development for a distributed team.
