Job summary

Synopsys, Inc. is seeking an experienced Real Estate & Facilities professional to lead governance of integrated facilities management for HQ operations and regional support.

You will partner with IFM leadership, drive maintenance strategies, and oversee critical building systems to ensure safe, reliable operations. You will develop playbooks, dashboards, and performance measures, while coordinating with Procurement, Finance, HR, IT, and regional teams to optimize space, budget, and service

Qualifications

• Significant progressive experience in Facilities Management or related field.
• Experience overseeing outsourced facilities-management providers and multiple service lines.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• Experience with maintenance programs, vendor oversight, and issue resolution.
• Experience using data to improve reliability and performance.
• Experience with workplace planning, occupancy, and space allocation.
• Experience with budgets, forecasts, and cost-management.
• Experience with vendor sourcing and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide governance of integrated facilities management services including HQ operations.
• Partner with IFM leadership, provide direction, coaching, and escalation support.
• Oversee hard facilities services and critical building infrastructure.
• Lead maintenance strategies, inspections, repairs, and service-restoration efforts.
• Develop playbooks, procedures, standards, and performance measures with the provider.
• Monitor service delivery and risk, implement corrective actions and continuous improvements.
• Support workplace and portfolio planning with occupancy, capacity, utilization analysis.
• Collaborate on relocations, space optimization, and post-acquisition integrations.
• Assist annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, expense analysis, and cost optimization.
• Work with procurement on vendor sourcing, RFPs, pricing, and contracting.
• Provide governance for facilities technology platforms (IWMS, CMMS, etc.).
• Develop dashboards and reporting on attendance, utilization, and performance.
• Maintain business-continuity and emergency-response programs.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, IT, Security, Legal, and regional teams.
