Job summary

The Westin Chicago North Shore in Chicago, IL seeks a Senior Catering & Events Sales Manager to direct, manage, and execute group bookings, contracts, and event details from inquiry through post-event follow-up.

You will drive revenue by upselling services, lead a Catering & Events team, and coordinate with Sales, Food & Beverage, and Operations to ensure seamless event execution and outstanding client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel sales experience in catering/events is preferred.
• Ability to lead a team and manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Direct, manage, and execute group bookings and event contracts from inquiry through post-event follow-up.
• Drive revenue through catering and events, upsell services and space.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders with accuracy.
• Coordinate with Sales, F&B, Operations, and other departments to ensure flawless event execution.
• Monitor market trends and identify new revenue opportunities.
• Lead and develop the Catering & Events team and provide ongoing feedback.
