Job summary

SPIN San Francisco is seeking a General Manager to lead operations for a high‑volume entertainment venue. The GM oversees daily tasks including payroll, P&L, safety, and standards while cultivating talent and guest satisfaction.

Lead floor and bar, manage shifts, drive sales, and partner with events and sales teams to ensure exceptional experiences. Proven leadership, hospitality background, and financial acumen are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ GM experience in high-volume entertainment/restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Supervise floor and bar to maximize profitability, minimize liability, and meet regulations.
• Maintain a safe environment and promptly complete incident reports.
• Recruit, interview, hire, supervise, discipline, motivate and train staff.
• Develop employees with ongoing feedback and performance reviews.
• Manage shifts: decision making, scheduling, planning, standards, quality, cleanliness.
• Control daily operations: labor, supplies, and team development.
• Ensure OSHA and local health and safety compliance and policy adherence.
• Manage cash, inventory, labor, and financial reports to control P&L.
• Coordinate pre-event and on-site communication with events team.
• Collaborate with sales and clients to achieve event goals and plans.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues for successful event execution.
