Job summary

Empower Retirement seeks a Director of Security Infrastructure & Engineering to lead enterprise security architecture across on‑premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. You will direct teams responsible for network security, Palo Alto firewalls, Prisma Access, and cloud security in AWS and Azure, aligning security with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–8 years of security management experience.
• Experience leading multiple security engineering teams or managers.
• Strong collaboration with technology and risk stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of enterprise security infrastructure and engineering teams.
• Develop and execute departmental strategies, roadmaps and resource plans.
• Oversee design, implementation and optimization of security infrastructure across on‑premises, cloud and hybrid environments.
• Direct architecture and deployment of Palo Alto networks firewalls, Panorama and related technologies.
• Lead Prisma Access and SASE/ZTNA initiatives for secure remote connectivity.
• Oversee security infrastructure across AWS and Azure, ensuring controls and resiliency.
• Partner with Network, Cloud and Infra teams to maintain consistent security architecture.
• Establish and enforce security standards, baselines and firewall governance.
• Ensure platforms are maintained, upgraded, and perform under load and risk.
