Job summary

Empower Retirement is seeking a Director of Security Infrastructure & Engineering to lead teams responsible for enterprise security across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. You will drive strategy, architecture, and governance for Palo Alto firewalls, Prisma Access, and cloud security in AWS and Azure.

You will partner with technology and business stakeholders to align security with regulatory requirements, manage budgets, and mentor engineering managers while delivering scalable security

Qualifications

• Significant experience in enterprise security infrastructure and network security engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management and performance of enterprise security infrastructure and engineering teams.
• Develop and execute departmental strategies, roadmaps, and resource plans.
• Oversee design, implementation, and lifecycle management of security infrastructure across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Direct security architecture for Palo Alto Networks firewalls, Prisma Access, and related technologies.
• Drive automation and infrastructure-as-code to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Partner with stakeholders to align security with regulatory requirements and business goals.
• Mentor managers and staff, and manage budgets and vendor relationships.
