Job summary

Parloa is seeking a Manager, Forward Deployed Engineering to lead a high-impact team delivering enterprise AI deployments. You will ensure delivery excellence, guide architecture, and unblock complex production issues across multiple customer projects.

You’ll manage staffing, milestones, risk, and stakeholder alignment while shaping reusable field engineering practices and collaborating with product teams to translate field learnings into product improvements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering or related roles with production responsibility.
• Proven enterprise delivery track record with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong backend, APIs, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, IaC, and database knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of FDEs; set expectations, coach, and review performance.
• Own capacity planning, staffing, and project delivery across deployments.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on architecture and production decisions.
• Create scalable field engineering practices and patterns.
• Collaborate with customer engineering and enterprise stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
