Job summary

Under Armour seeks a Lead, Enterprise Data and AI Governance to strengthen governance across the organization. You will define frameworks, policies, and operating models, partnering with legal, privacy, security, and risk teams to translate governance requirements into practical roadmaps and changes.

The role partners with business and technology teams to embed governance into platforms, workflows, and reporting, and to monitor KPIs for governance maturity and AI effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in data governance, AI governance or data management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional governance initiatives and manage intake, prioritization, and delivery.
• Experience with ERP, metadata, workflow, governance, or enterprise technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain data and AI governance frameworks, including decision rights, governance roles, escalation paths, and accountability models.
• Define and implement policies, standards, and procedures for data governance and responsible AI governance.
• Facilitate governance councils, working groups, and stakeholder forums to drive alignment, prioritization, issue resolution, and adoption of standards.
• Manage the data and AI governance roadmap, including priorities, milestones, dependencies, risks, and delivery reporting.
• Oversee governance-related system changes, process updates, role assignments, and adoption activities that support sustainable operations.
• Partner with business and technology teams to embed governance requirements into platforms, workflows, approvals, metadata, controls, and reporting.
• Define, publish, and monitor KPIs for governance maturity, roadmap progress, adoption, data quality, and responsible AI effectiveness.
• Assess data and AI governance maturity, identify gaps, recommend improvements, and track remediation.
• Act as a subject matter expert for governance concepts, definitions, standards, metadata, stewardship practices, and responsible for AI oversight.
• Partner with Data Stewards, business owners, product teams, and technology partners to improve metadata management, governance processes, data integrity, and enterprise data sharing.
