Job summary

Under Armour is seeking a Lead, Enterprise Data and AI Governance to strengthen governance across the organization. You will define frameworks, policies, and operating models, partnering with business, technology, legal, privacy, security, and risk teams to enable trusted data and responsible AI use.

The role focuses on scalable governance, KPI development, and active participation in governance councils and roadmaps. Hybrid work from our Baltimore HQ is required with 4 in-office days weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a related field with significant governance experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional governance initiatives and managing roadmaps.
• Strong understanding of international business environments and data stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain data and AI governance frameworks, including decision rights, governance roles, escalation paths, and accountability models.
• Define and implement policies, standards, and procedures for data governance and responsible AI governance.
• Facilitate governance councils, working groups, and stakeholder forums to drive alignment and adoption of standards.
• Manage the data and AI governance roadmap, including priorities, milestones, dependencies, risks, and reporting.
• Oversee governance-related system changes, process updates, role assignments, and adoption activities.
• Partner with business and technology teams to embed governance into platforms, workflows, and reporting.
• Define, publish, and monitor KPIs for governance maturity and AI effectiveness.
• Assess governance maturity, identify gaps, and track remediation.
• Act as SME for governance concepts, metadata, stewardship, and AI oversight.
• Collaborate with Data Stewards, product teams, and tech partners to improve metadata management and data sharing.
