Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts in Herndon is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our property's engineering team and oversee maintenance of all hotel systems.

You will supervise preventive maintenance, manage life safety systems, and ensure compliance with corporate and local codes to protect guests and assets. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in facilities or maintenance and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a facilities or maintenance technician role.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) required.
• Hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, kitchen equipment, laundry machinery, AV/security systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Availability for evenings, weekends and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all Engineering staff and hotel maintenance.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and repairs of property equipment.
• Monitor life safety systems, utilities, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain FF&E, grounds, and pool.
