Job summary

Vantage seeks a Director of Electrical Engineering to lead the development of data center space, directing all electrical design and engineering activities from concept through commissioning. You will manage a multi‑project portfolio, balance budget and schedule, and ensure alignment with product offerings and client needs.

You will mentor staff, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with sales, operations, and external partners to stay ahead of industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• US-based Professional Engineer (PE) registration strongly preferred.
• 8+ years in engineering management or leadership role.
• 15+ years in electrical design and construction; 20+ years preferred.
• Data Center experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of Electrical Design and Engineering for data center projects from concept to commissioning.
• Oversee multiple projects, budgets, and schedules, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
• Collaborate with sales, facilities, and cross‑functional teams to deliver value.
• Mentor and develop engineering staff, driving technical excellence and ongoing improvement.
• Coordinate with consultants/vendors for qualification and adoption of technology.
