Job summary

Smartcat is seeking a true leader to manage DevOps and Infrastructure teams responsible for the development, deployment, and operation of its platform. You will ensure staging and production availability, scalability, and reliability while defining best SRE/DevOps practices.

You will build and guide a high-performing engineering organization across regions and time zones, coaching team members and refining hiring and career development processes.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience leading a team in a fast-growing multinational IT business.
• 5 years in DevOps and SRE, maintaining high-RPS distributed products.
• Data-driven decisions with concrete metrics.
• Ability to align with neighboring teams and serve as an interface.
• Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and deployment strategies.
• Experience in secure development environments.
• Cloud experience across AWS, Azure and GCP.

Responsibilities

• Manage DevOps and Infrastructure teams to support development, deployment and operation of Smartcat.
• Ensure availability, scalability and reliability of staging and production environments.
• Define and enforce best SRE and DevOps practices.
• Build and manage a team of A+ players across regions and time zones.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and reduce lead time.
