Job summary

Athene is seeking a high‑performing retirement plan sales leader to own the territory and drive private assets and guaranteed income solutions across the Utah region. The role focuses on building advisor relationships, expanding through recordkeeper channels, and delivering measurable sales outcomes with strategic plan execution.

You will present with product specialists, manage executive conversations, and coordinate with internal partners to align coverage and win new business.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in retirement plan sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Established relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeeper teams.
• Strong command of advisor-led and recordkeeper channels; translating home office relationships to field opportunities.
• Knowledge of defined contribution market and ERISA fundamentals; expertise in private assets or guaranteed income.
• FINRA Series 6 and 63 or Series 7 required.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual territory sales target across the Apollo and Vitera defined contribution offering.
• Build relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeeper field teams; convert partnerships into local adoption.
• Develop and execute a territory plan with priority advisors, activity cadence, pipeline milestones, and measurable outcomes.
• Lead advisor education, field events, and presentations; bring in product specialists for depth while retaining relationship ownership.
• Coordinate with recordkeeper partners on joint meetings, campaigns, and opportunities.
• Use CRM data, market intelligence, and AI tools to refine targeting and maintain pipeline discipline.
