Job summary

Journal Technologies is seeking a Head of the Defender Business Unit to lead the BU’s profitability, growth, and customer outcomes. This role works closely with the CEO to shape strategy and align cross-functional teams in Product, Customer Lifecycle, and Customer Growth to maximize value.

The position emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement, with a focus on meeting evolving needs of courts and government clients across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is preferred.
• Progressive leadership experience in enterprise software or government/public sector tech is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the Defender Business Unit's profitability, revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and operational performance.
• Develop and execute the BU strategy in partnership with the CEO, aligning with company priorities.
• Lead Product, Customer Lifecycle, and Customer Growth Scrum teams to achieve BU objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement and product-led implementations while expanding market adoption.
