Best Version Media seeks a Director of Data Analytics and Strategy to own our analytics ecosystem, forecasting models, and data-driven decision systems. Lead enterprise data initiatives and drive measurable improvements in revenue, retention, and publication health across North America.

This role demands strategic judgment, operational leadership, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable business outcomes that influence executive decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of data analytics, BI, strategy, or technical leadership.
• 2+ years directly managing analytics, BI, or data science teams.
• Deep understanding of revenue drivers, customer acquisition, retention, and unit economics.
• Ability to translate complex data into executive-level recommendations.
• Hands-on experience with KPI frameworks, dashboards, forecasting models, and performance workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead data strategy, governance, and tech ecosystem; ensure data platforms and reporting tools are trusted, accurate, scalable, and defined.
• Uncover core drivers of revenue, growth, retention, and publication health; translate data into actionable strategies and executive scorecards.
• Build predictive models to evaluate market density, customer behavior, and expansion opportunities across communities; support long-term planning.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Product to define metrics, close performance gaps, and drive revenue growth.
• Establish attribution models, KPIs, and test-and-learn programs to evaluate initiatives, campaigns, and changes.
• Build, mentor, and direct a high-performing analytics team and promote a data-driven culture.
