Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Senior Director, Data Centre Development to lead client deployments, align objectives across Sales, Operations and Property Development, and drive projects on time and on budget.

The role requires a strong background in data centre design, engineering, controls, and construction management, with travel up to 50%. You will engage with multi-disciplinary teams and external consultants to deliver large-scale data center builds for strategic clients.

Responsibilities

• Function as the point of contact for new client builds and implementations, liaising with Sales, Operations and Property Development teams.
• Work closely with Development Construction Project Managers to meet customer expectations.
• Manage customer deployment project delivery for each sold deal within each QTS location.
• Coordinate with Property Development and specialty consultants for design needs, pricing, approvals and deployment scope.
• Align client objectives with business processes and vendor strategies across QTS.
• Drive client relationships and cost management to deliver projects on time and on budget.
• Other duties may be assigned.
