Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Senior Director, Development, to lead delivery of customer deployment projects for mission critical facilities. You will coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Property Development, guiding design, pricing, approvals and implementation across QTS locations.

You will report to the Property Development department and collaborate with the Chief Delivery Officer and Chief Commercial Officer to meet client objectives while controlling costs and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Architecture.
• Ten or more years of progressive responsibility in the development of Mission Critical Facilities.
• Five or more years of responsibility for data center project construction with large-scale data centers or DC lease providers.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Ability to influence cross-discipline teams while managing deadlines and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Report into the QTS Property Development department and coordinate with Sales, Operations, and consultants to deliver client deployments.
• Serve as the main liaison between Sales, Operations, and Development teams for new client builds and implementations.
• Manage customer deployment project delivery for each sold deal within every QTS location and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate with the Property Development team and specialty consultants to support customers' design needs, pricing and approvals.
• Drive cross-group collaboration across QTS to align client objectives and vendor strategies.
