Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Manager, Data Analytics & Decision Science to lead a high-performing analytics team responsible for turning data into insights that improve decisions and deliver measurable outcomes.

The leader will evolve analytics from reporting to explaining why things happened, what may happen next, and which actions should be taken, partnering across analytics, operations, technology, and strategy while modernizing with Databricks, automation, data science, and AI-enabled

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in analytics, data science, statistics, economics, business, CS, or related field.
8–12 years of experience preferred.
Experience leading analytics teams.
Experience with Databricks or similar cloud data and analytics platform.
Strong SQL knowledge and BI visualization experience.
Experience applying AI to analytics workflows.
Healthcare/pharma/payer industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing analytics team.
Partner with business leaders to identify important questions, decisions, and opportunities analytics can support.
Deliver insights that improve patient, operational, customer, and financial outcomes.
Develop analytics that look across businesses and programs to identify trends and benchmarks.
Communicate complex findings clearly to senior leaders and nontechnical audiences.
Partner with data engineering, technology, governance, and other teams to ensure analytics is built on trusted data.
