Job summary
Cardinal Health is seeking a Manager, Data Analytics & Decision Science to lead a high‑performing team and partner with executives to drive data-driven decisions. You will help mature analytics from reporting to predicting and prescribing actions, including adoption of Databricks, automation, and AI‑enabled analytics.
You will balance people leadership with business partnership, delivering insights that improve patient and financial outcomes across programs and operations in a remote, full‑time
Qualifications
- 8-12 years of experience in analytics or data science, with leadership experience.
- Ability to translate business problems into analytical questions and recommendations.
- Experience leading and developing analysts or analytics teams.
- Experience with modern cloud data analytics platforms (Databricks).
- Strong SQL and BI tool proficiency (Tableau/Power BI).
- Experience applying AI or generative AI to analytics workflows.
- Healthcare/pharma/payer or related industry experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing analytics team.
- Partner with business leaders to identify key questions and opportunities analytics can support.
- Deliver insights that improve patient, operational, customer, and financial outcomes.
- Develop cross-business analytics to identify trends and benchmarks.
- Communicate complex findings clearly to senior leaders and nontechnical audiences.
- Collaborate with data engineering, technology, and governance to ensure trusted data.
