Job summary

Directive Consulting is seeking a Director of Creative to lead the Performance Design team, overseeing creative strategy, people development, and financial performance. This remote-first role blends strategic leadership with hands-on production and AI integration to deliver measurable business outcomes.

You will partner with paid media and client success to ensure data-informed creative, manage budget and margins, and drive innovative workflows that scale high-quality output for multiple B2B

Qualifications

• 5+ years in creative roles within performance marketing or growth-focused agency environments.
• Proven track record leading creative teams and balancing creative quality with business outcomes.
• Comfortable presenting department strategy and financial projections to VPs and CMOs.
• Hands-on experience with AI creative tools and integrating AI into production workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own the creative vision and quality standard for the Performance Design department.
• Lead, coach, and develop designers and motion contractors.
• Collaborate with paid media and client success teams to ensure data-informed creative.
• Own department P&L and monitor margins with staffing and tech investments.
• Lead adoption of AI tools and integrate new technologies into production workflows.
