Job summary

Directive Consulting is seeking a Head of Creative to lead the Performance Design department, shaping strategy and managing a talented team of designers and motion contractors. You will own the department's P&L and drive scalable, high-performing creative output for our B2B clients.

In a remote-first environment, you will collaborate with paid media and client success to ensure data-informed creative that delivers measurable business results across technology, industrial, and services verticals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in creative roles within performance marketing or growth-focused agencies.
• Proven track record in managing creative teams and balancing quality with business outcomes.
• Comfortable presenting department strategy and financial projections to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own the creative vision and quality standard for the Performance Design department.
• Lead and develop designers and motion contractors; set expectations and accountability.
• Partner with paid media and client-success teams to ensure data-informed creativity.
• Articulate the value of Performance Design as a strategic capability, not just execution.
• Own and manage the department P&L; monitor margins and resource decisions.
• Lead adoption of AI creative tools and integrate them into production workflows.
