Job summary

Directive Consulting is a remote-first B2B marketing agency seeking a senior leader to own the Performance Design department. You will shape the creative vision, ensure craft and conversion benchmarks, and mentor designers and motion contractors.

You will drive AI adoption, integrate AI tools into workflows, and manage department P&L, margins, and resourcing while collaborating with paid media and client success teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the creative vision and quality standard for the Performance Design department.
• Lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary team of designers and motion contractors.
• Set clear expectations, foster accountability, and invest in team growth opportunities.
• Partner with paid media and client success to keep creative data-informed from the start.
• Own department P&L, margins, and resourcing decisions to operate as a profitable business unit.
• Lead adoption of AI creative tools across the team.
• Build AI into production workflows to sharpen output and improve efficiency.
