Job summary

Boeing Employees Credit Union (BECU) is seeking a Director of Technology - Core Banking to drive the modernization of core banking platforms and align technology with business goals. You will lead engineering teams, shape roadmaps, and promote modern architecture across Cloud, Data, APIs, and DevOps.

In this role, you will oversee end-to-end delivery, manage cross-functional programs, and ensure governance and execution discipline.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
Minimum 7 years of people leadership experience.
Minimum 8 years IT experience with enterprise-scale platforms or programs.
Domain experience with ERP and/or financial products.
Experience delivering cross-functional programs and complex dependencies.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain technology strategy aligned to business goals for enterprise core banking.
Lead delivery for core banking initiatives with agile practices.
Develop and manage technology roadmaps and choreograph cross-team sequencing.
Identify innovative market solutions and lead business cases and project charters.
Coach and develop team members, fostering performance and accountability.
Drive software engineering excellence across lifecycle with CI/CD and testing best practices.
Oversee end-to-end delivery across enterprise core platforms and modernization programs.
Ensure governance, delivery discipline, and risk management across initiatives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define roadmaps and measure delivery outcomes.
Lead annual operating plan development and technology prioritization.
