Job summary

Boyd Watterson Asset Management in Chicago seeks a Head of US Consultant Relations to lead engagement with institutional investment consultants and strengthen how relationships translate into growth. You will drive ratings, maintain existing relationships, and convert advocacy into funded opportunities with a proactive, commercial mindset.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree and CFA/CAIA preferred.
10+ years of experience in consultant relations or related asset management role.
Strong understanding of institutional investment consultant marketplace, ratings, and OCIO processes.
Ability to communicate effectively in person and via electronic communications.
Willingness to travel extensively to meet firm goals.

Responsibilities

Lead a team as a player‑coach and maintain individual coverage.
Foster collaboration and share market intelligence to maximize client outcomes.
Engage senior investment professionals on strategy, risk, and market trends.
Drive consultant engagement strategies to secure ratings and translate advocacy into opportunities.
Develop engagement plans with investment teams, product strategy, sales, and client relations.
Connect consultant advocacy and ratings progress to funded opportunities and growth.
Promote cross‑functional collaboration and ensure insights are acted upon.
Maintain strong organizational discipline, judgment, and follow‑through.
