Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is seeking a strategic operator to lead and scale a high-impact Communications function. You will partner with the CCO and senior leaders to translate priorities into plans, align resources, and measure impact across the global team.

The role requires a decade of strategy/ops experience, strong financial fluency, and excellent communication. You will drive planning rhythms, executive reviews, and cross-team collaboration to keep the function aligned with company priorities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in strategy, business operations, program management, consulting, or chief-of-staff roles, ideally within communications, marketing, or another corporate function.
• Proven ability to translate strategy into action and drive execution across a large, global function.
• Strong financial literacy with budgeting, forecasting, and vendor management experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategy into action with the CCO and leadership team, defining priorities and building plans, milestones, and metrics.
• Drive planning and performance rhythm: cycles, OKRs, executive reviews, and all-team meetings.
• Be a thought partner to the CCO, anticipating needs, testing ideas, and surfacing risks and opportunities.
• Shape resource decisions with the Communications operations team, including budget planning and vendor management.
• Align with leaders across media, creative engagement, and other Communications teams on priorities and timelines.
• Connect with Finance, People, Legal, and Marketing to keep the function integrated with company priorities.
• Improve structure, processes, tools, and reporting to scale the function.
• Develop talent by leading and growing a small team and guiding hiring and onboarding.
