Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an accomplished communications professional to shape narrative strategy for our CEO and transform it into keynote remarks, podcasts, and interviews. You’ll monitor external conversations, ensuring our messaging stays consistent and on point across how we present Salesforce to the world.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in executive communications or a similar field.
• Portfolio of speeches and executive messaging in someone else’s voice.
• Experience writing for a CEO or senior spokesperson preferred.
• Executive social media experience: posts, calendar, engagement data.
• Strong news and narrative judgment; familiarity with media monitoring is a plus.
• Fluency in AI and enterprise technology landscape or curiosity to get there fast.
• High judgment and discretion handling sensitive topics.

Responsibilities

• Monitor external narratives and provide concise reads on emerging narratives, risks and openings.
• Maintain a living messaging bank to keep CEO appearances consistent.
• Ground content in transcripts and past remarks to avoid contradictions.
• Flag important narratives quickly with a short daily or weekly brief.
• Partner with Product PR, Office of the CEO, Government Affairs, IR, and others to align.
• Draft cue cards, talk tracks, scripts, and fireside chat questions on tight deadlines.
• Support media interviews by preparing the CEO and collecting key soundbites.
• Own the CEO’s LinkedIn presence and manage the content calendar.
