Job summary

ENFRA is seeking a visionary Commissioning Vice President to guide the commissioning division, drive best practices, and ensure profitable project execution. The role entails coordinating operations, budgets, and client relationships, while mentoring directors and project managers.

Travel 25-40% to job sites and office locations will be required as part of ongoing strategic planning, with focus on delivering high-quality commissioning solutions and maintaining competitive industry leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in building construction, especially mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and related systems.
• Proficient in software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and CxAlloy.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to tackle multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of industry competitors and standards.
• ANSI Commissioning Certification credentials (e.g., BCCB, ACG, ASHRAE).
• Preferred: PMI PMP Certification and PE License.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate alignment of internal operational aspects of project delivery.
• Partner with accounting leadership to monitor financial aspects of operations.
• Ensure quality control for commissioning approaches and deliverables.
• Develop efficient organizational structure and succession plans.
• Drive cross-functional communication across commissioning, engineering, and construction teams.
• Mentor Directors and Project Managers in business planning and analytics.
• Establish budget controls and manage project changes for cost/benefit.
• Strengthen client relationships and manage day-to-day operations.
