Sysdig is seeking an experienced infrastructure leader to own the end-to-end cloud infrastructure strategy across a global footprint, including architecture, resources, maintenance, capacity planning, and vendor strategy across multiple cloud providers.

The role emphasizes cost optimization, executive partnership, and strategic decision-making, with hands-on engagement to review IaC and architecture while mentoring a high-performing team. EU data considerations and GDPR are part of the scope.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of infrastructure/platform engineering experience.
• 4+ years leading infrastructure strategy and budget in a distributed system environment.
• Proven track record unblocking bottlenecks and driving execution across teams.
• Ability to present to C-level executives with data-backed clarity.

Aufgaben

• Own end-to-end cloud infrastructure strategy across global footprint (AWS, GCP, Azure, IBM, OCI).
• Drive a continuous cost-optimization program including rightsizing and tag/chargeback discipline.
• Act as technical touchpoint for executive team, translating infra investment into business terms.
• Make build-vs-buy and multi-cloud vs single-cloud tradeoffs with clear rationale.
• Manage cross-team dependencies with Security, Data, and Product Engineering.
