Hi there, we're Yendo, and our vision is to empower everyday people to build a stronger financial future. In less than 2 years, we’ve saved customers over $100 million in unnecessary interest and fees.

We are using proprietary, patented AI to seamlessly unlock the $4 Trillion in vehicle and home equity owned by Americans in the form of a high-limit, standard-rate credit card for those traditionally excluded from mainstream financial offerings.

Yendo's credit limits are 6x higher than cards typically available for non-prime borrowers at significantly cheaper rates. No existing bank credit product can compete with Yendo’s offering in terms of price, credit access, or performance.

Role Overview

As Head of Capital Markets, you will develop and drive Yendo’s capital markets strategy to ensure we have the structures in place to support our fast-growing various asset equity backed credit card portfolios. You’ll work closely with the CFO and other senior leaders to design, negotiate, and manage debt facilities, investor relationships, and financing solutions that fuel our mission of providing equitable credit.

You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, are comfortable with ambiguity, and excel at building strategic partnerships. You’ll leverage your deep expertise in structured finance, debt capital markets, and investor relations to secure and optimize our capital structure while mitigating risk.

Responsibilities

  • Capital Strategy & Execution: Develop, implement, and refine Yendo’s overarching capital markets strategy, ensuring adequate funding at optimal terms.
  • Debt Facility Management: Lead the negotiation, structuring, and ongoing management of warehouse, term loans, SPV Joint ventures, forward flow, and other credit facilities.
  • Investor Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with banks, credit unions, institutional investors, and other funding sources to ensure diversification of capital.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and regulatory changes, proactively adjusting capital structures and terms to align with business needs and economic conditions.
  • Risk Management: Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Credit, Legal) to ensure compliance, maintain strong credit quality, and manage overall portfolio performance.
  • Financial Modeling & Analytics: Oversee robust financial and credit performance models that inform funding decisions and help optimize unit economics.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the CFO and leadership in Product, Growth, and Operations to align funding strategies with product roadmaps and operational objectives.
  • Investor Reporting & Communication: Lead capital markets–related reporting, including updates for current and potential investors, ensuring transparency and confidence in Yendo’s credit performance.
  • Team Leadership: Build and scale the Capital Markets function, potentially hiring and mentoring a high-performing team.

What You’ll Need

  • 7+ years of experience in capital markets, structured finance, or a similar role, preferably within fintech, consumer credit, or lending environments. Credit card experience is a plus.
  • Proven track record of raising and managing debt facilities (e.g., warehouse lines, ABS, term loans) in a fast-paced, high-growth context of $150M to $2B
  • Deep expertise in structured finance, securitization, and credit risk management.
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills with the ability to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of clearly articulating complex financial structures and strategies to executive teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to pivot quickly and thrive amid change.
  • Highly detail-oriented, with strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Experience with relevant tools, including financial modeling software and analytics platforms.
  • Proactive, collaborative approach to problem-solving and cross-functional partnership.

Why Join Us

  • Make a Real Impact: At Yendo, your work will directly affect the financial futures of 65M Americans who are underserved by traditional credit products.
  • Huge Market Opportunity: 65 million Americans lack access to sustainable credit, forcing them to rely on small dollar credit cards or predatory lending. You’ll be part of a solution disrupting the existing consumer credit landscape.
  • Experienced Leadership: Our executive team has founded, scaled, and managed $100M+ revenue startups to $1B+ valuations, managed public companies, and more.
  • Top-Tier Backing: We’re supported by leading VCs, entrepreneurs, and philanthropists behind iconic companies and technologies (Apple Card, Brex, Dave, Robinhood, LinkedIn, and more).
  • Location Flexibility: We’re based in Dallas, Texas, with a nationwide team. This role can be remote or on Y’all Street in Dallas.
  • Competitive Compensation & Benefits: Including equity, insurance, 401(k), unlimited PTO, and more.

Join us in transforming the financial landscape and creating equitable access to credit for millions of Americans! We look forward to hearing from you.
