Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. seeks a Director of the Battery Energy Storage System Operations & Maintenance business line to launch and lead a new service offering for utility-scale energy storage assets. The role builds strategy, service scope, pricing, and talent to scale BESS O&M as a core business.

Work with Compliance, Safety, and Engineering teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and performance across sites, with options for remote or hybrid work in the US.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in utility-scale energy operations with leadership experience.
• Experience starting or scaling a new team or division.
• Expertise in BESS technologies, power electronics, SCADA, and grid assets.

Responsibilities

• Establish and grow a new BESS O&M business line within the O&M org.
• Drive strategic planning, pricing, and service offerings for BESS.
• Align with safety, compliance, and performance teams across sites.
• Lead cross-functional execution, governance, and operational standards.
• Develop training, procedures, and capability development for the team.
