Job summary

Schwab is seeking a Director of Bank Lending Experience & Delivery to own the Bank Lending product experience and lead cross-enterprise delivery of PAL, SAL, Home Lending. You will align business architecture, product, and technology with a unified roadmap, drive planning, and partner with Bank Technology to ensure compliant, high-value delivery.

This role emphasizes client/advisor/representative journeys, risk management, and measurable outcomes within a regulated banking environment.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in financial services, with banking, lending, or integrated advisory platforms.
Deep expertise in lending and/or banking experiences with risk, regulatory knowledge.
Proven people leadership, building high-performing teams (~5+).
Experience owning and managing a product roadmap across multiple products.
Strong delivery background in agile environments: backlog, PI planning, epics/stories.
Ability to design end-to-end client/advisor experiences in regulated contexts.
Strong product strategy, roadmap development, execution in fast-paced settings.
Ability to synthesize client needs, regulatory constraints into decisions.
Experience working with risk, compliance, legal, and business partners.
Executive presence to influence senior leaders and partners.
Exceptional collaboration across product, experience, delivery, tech, design.
High emotional intelligence and leadership balance urgency and accountability.

Responsibilities

Held ownership of Bank Lending product experience with PAL, SAL, and Home Lending.
Own and coordinate a unified Bank Lending roadmap across PAL, SAL, Mortgage, HELOC.
Lead planning and execution readiness for lending solutions translating strategy into outcomes.
Partner with the PO group to manage backlogs and direct technical scrum teams.
Own agile/technology delivery partnership, managing dependencies and risk.
Ensure client, advisor, and rep digital experience quality across journeys.
Drive intake and requirements management, validating problems and documenting requirements truth.
Reduce handoffs and establish end-to-end accountability.
Partner with Bank Technology on architecture, design, and release execution.
Prioritize high-value work across products and enhancements.
Balance innovation with risk, regulatory compliance, and controls.
Define success metrics and measurable outcomes.
Lead with urgency, judgment, and emotional intelligence.
