Charles Schwab in Austin seeks a Director of Bank Lending Experience & Delivery to own the end-to-end lending product experience and deliver a unified roadmap across PAL, SAL, Home Lending, and Mortgage. You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with technology, risk, and business partners, and drive measurable client and advisor outcomes.

The role requires 10+ years in financial services with banking or lending experience, strong agile delivery, and executive-level collaboration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in financial services with banking or lending experience.
• Proven product leadership across multiple products.
• Strong delivery in agile with backlog and PI planning.
• Ability to translate strategy into prioritized delivery.
• Experience with risk, compliance, and regulatory controls.
• Executive presence and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Hold shared ownership of the Bank Lending product experience with PAL, SAL, Home Lending.
• Coordinate a unified Bank Lending roadmap across multiple products.
• Lead planning and execution readiness for lending solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Owner groups to manage backlogs and stories.
• Own agile/technology delivery partnership and manage dependencies.
• Ensure end-to-end client/advisor experience quality and usability.
• Drive requirements management and single source of truth for business needs.
• Reduce handoffs and establish clear accountability across teams.
• Partner with Bank Technology on architecture and release execution.
• Prioritize high-value work and align with risk and regulatory standards.
