Job summary

Lanesurf is building an AI-driven freight brokerage platform in San Francisco. We are seeking a top-performing executive to train and manage the AI carrier sales floor, teaching it to read loads, negotiate, and book millions of loads across lanes.

You will define lane strategies, supervise a team of humans and AI agents, and push the system to achieve 90%+ vetted bids per lane. The role blends strategic judgment with hands-on experimentation in a fast-moving startup environment.

Qualifications

• Experience running carrier sales or capacity at a real brokerage.
• Ability to read a lane and decide how you'd cover it.

Responsibilities

• Train the AI carrier sales floor to match the judgment and style of top human reps.
• Define lane strategies and push the AI to cover 90%+ of lanes with vetted bids.
• Lead a team of humans and AI agents, pulling calls, tagging outcomes, and running tests.
• Monitor lane benchmarks and continuously improve how the agent sources, times, and prices a lane.
