Job summary

Relativity in Massachusetts is seeking a Senior Manager, Applied Science to lead a team expanding the aiR agentic harness for greater capability and reliability. You will oversee production-ready AI systems from problem framing to monitoring, guiding a team of applied scientists and partnering with product, engineering, and legal experts.

You will shape architectures, set technical direction, and translate complex ideas into actionable decisions while representing Relativity at industry events

Qualifications

• A master's or PhD in computer science or a quantitative discipline, with at least 6 years in applied AI/ML.
• Experience leading teams of applied scientists and delivering production-ready AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of applied scientists: hire, coach, set direction.
• Own AI system readiness end-to-end from problem framing through evaluation, error analysis and production monitoring.
• Partner with product, engineering, design, customer-facing teams, and the legal experts on the team to take ideas from proof-of-concept to production at scale.
• Represent Relativity at industry conferences, events, and with customers.
