Job summary

Relativity is hiring a Senior Manager, Applied Science to lead a team building the aiR agentic harness and reliable AI systems. You will guide architecture, evaluation, and production readiness while partnering with product, engineering, and legal teams.

The role requires a PhD or master’s in a quantitative field, 6+ years in applied AI/ML including leadership, and a track record of deploying production AI systems at scale.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in computer science or a quantitative field.
• At least 6 years in applied AI/ML with 1+ year as a people leader.
• Production-ready AI systems ownership across lifecycle from framing to monitoring.
• Fluency with modern generative AI within larger systems and deployment.
• Strong software engineering judgement and programming skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of applied scientists: hire, coach, set direction.
• Set the technical and scientific bar; shape architectures and evaluations.
• Own AI system readiness end-to-end from framing to production monitoring.
• Choose problems for agentic and large-scale review applications.
• Partner with product, engineering, design, and legal teams to production.
• Communicate technical nuance clearly to leadership and customers.
• Represent Relativity at industry conferences and with customers.
