Job summary

Relativity is seeking a Senior Manager, Applied Science to lead a team expanding the aiR agentic harness for greater capability and reliability. You will guide architecture, mentoring, and productionization of AI systems used in legal tech.

You will own end-to-end readiness, partner with product and engineering, and communicate precisely with leadership and customers. A Master's or PhD with 6+ years of applied AI/ML is required.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in CS (or equivalent) with 6+ years in applied AI/ML and 1+ year as a people leader.
• Deep applied AI/ML and deployment engineering experience, building production AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of applied scientists: hire, coach, set direction, develop people toward their best work.
• Set the technical and scientific bar; stay hands-on shaping architectures, reviewing designs, and tackling hard problems.
• Own AI system readiness end-to-end from framing through evaluation, analysis, and production monitoring.
• Choose the right problems; help decide where to invest for reliability and impact.
• Partner with product, engineering, design, and legal teams to scale ideas to production.
• Communicate with precision to team, leadership, and customers; translate technical details into decisions.
