Qualifications

• A master's or PhD in computer science or another quantitative discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
• At least 6 years in applied AI/ML including 1+ years as a people leader.
• Fluency with modern generative AI as a component of larger systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of applied scientists: hire, coach, set direction, and develop people toward their best work.
• Set the technical and scientific bar. Shape architectures, review designs, and solve hard problems.
• Own AI system readiness end-to-end, from framing to evaluation, error analysis, and production monitoring.
• Choose the right problems and decide where to invest for impact.
• Partner with product, engineering, design, and legal experts to take ideas to production.
• Communicate with precision to teams, leadership, and customers; translate technical nuance into actionable decisions.
• Represent Relativity at industry conferences, events, and with customers.
