Job summary

Runpod, the AI Developer Cloud, seeks a Head of Analytics and Business Intelligence to lead a growing analytics function. You’ll own the metrics stack, set the analytics roadmap, partner with Product, Finance, Security, and GTM, and translate data into strategic recommendations for executives and the board.

You'll shape a self-serve layer, mentor analysts, and ensure data quality, SOC 2 compliance, and high-impact decision support in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in analytics, BI, or data science with executive metrics ownership.
• 3+ years managing analytics/BI teams with hiring and retention experience.
• Deep SQL fluency with modern analytics engineering practices (dbt or equivalent) and data warehouse modeling.
• Experience with usage-based, consumption, or marketplace models and two-sided dynamics.
• Ability to define a metric layer and drive organization-wide adoption.
• Strong judgment, urgency, and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and grow a team of analysts and BI practitioners, including hiring and career development.
• Drive data-centric company strategy by identifying data levers and opportunities.
• Own core metric layer definitions for utilization, retention, revenue, margin, and supply/demand health.
• Set analytics roadmap with Product, Finance, and GTM leadership; balance recurring reporting with deeper analysis.
• Analyze consumption-based revenue and customer behavior, including churn, expansion, and usage economics.
• Build a self-serve analytics layer so stakeholders answer routine questions independently.
