Job summary

Runpod is seeking a Head of Analytics and BI to lead and grow its analytics function, owning metrics and how insights reach executives across Product, Supply, Finance, Engineering, Security, and GTM.

You will manage a team of analysts, set the analytics roadmap, build self-serve data, and partner with Data Eng, ensuring SOC 2 readiness while moving analytics from answering questions to defining them.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in analytics, BI, or data science with executive visibility.
• 3+ years leading analytics or BI teams and hiring/retaining talent.
• Hands-on SQL fluency with modern analytics engineering practices (dbt or equivalent).
• Experience with usage-based or marketplace models and two-sided dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and grow a team of analysts and BI practitioners.
• Drive data-led strategy and identify data levers to transform the business.
• Own core metric layer definitions for utilization, retention, revenue retention, margin, and supply/demand health.
• Set analytics roadmap with Product, Finance, and GTM leadership.
• Drive analysis of consumption-based revenue and customer behavior.
• Build self-serve analytics layer for routine questions.
• Partner with Data Eng on modeling, data quality, and SOC 2 compliance.
• Establish experimentation and measurement guardrails.
• Present analytics in executive and board reporting.
