Job summary
Runpod, the AI Developer Cloud, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and implement scalable data pipelines, warehousing, and analytics platforms that power decision making across the company. You will work with Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, and other modern data platforms, ensuring SOC 2 compliance and strong data governance while enabling ML and business insights.

Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience architecting and implementing large-scale enterprise data solutions.
- 2+ years with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, and Redshift, with understanding of their architectural principles.
- 2+ years of designing and optimizing high-volume, real-time, and batch ETL pipelines.
- 1+ years of coaching and mentoring team members to foster growth.
- Proven track record in startup environments with a proactive, business-facing mindset.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of robust data pipelines to ingest, aggregate, and index data into the data warehouse.
- Spearhead the development of a cutting-edge data warehousing platform with SOC2 compliance.
- Collaborate with data analytics to support reporting and metrics.
- Partner with data science/ML teams to build scalable insights and LLM capabilities.
- Mentor engineers on the data team to foster data excellence.
