Job summary

Runpod is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and implement scalable data solutions that power analytics, decision making, and ML initiatives. You will build robust pipelines, maintain a SOC2-compliant data warehouse, and collaborate with Analytics, Finance, Security, and ML teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience architecting and implementing large-scale enterprise data solutions.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, and Redshift.
• 2+ years of designing and optimizing high-volume, real-time, and batch ETL pipelines.
• 1+ years of coaching/mentoring team members to foster growth.
• Proven track record in startup environments with proactive, impact-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Advanced degree in Statistics, CS, Mathematics, or related field or equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of data pipelines to ingest, aggregate, and index data into the data warehouse.
• Develop a cutting-edge data warehousing platform with SOC2 security and compliance in mind.
• Collaborate with analytics to support reporting and business metrics.
• Partner with data science and ML teams to enable insights and scalable capabilities for LLMs.
• Mentor engineers on the data team and foster a culture of data excellence.
