Yahoo is seeking a strategic operations leader to unite long-term priorities with day-to-day execution in Central Technology. You will partner with the CTO and senior leaders to translate strategy into actionable roadmaps, roadmaps, and governance that drive measurable business value.

You will mentor a high-performing Strategy & Operations team, champion AI-enabled workflows, and deliver executive narratives that align product, engineering, finance, and talent decisions with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in strategy or operations within large tech environments.
• Proven ability to partner with C-level, VP, and senior leaders.
• Player-coach with hands-on analytical and narrative execution.

Responsibilities

• Translate multi-year priorities into actionable roadmaps and OKRs.
• Own planning rhythms and introduce AI-driven workflows.
• Lead complex, high-stakes challenges from definition to delivery.
• Create an integrated view of performance and cloud investments.
• Collaborate with Product/Engineering to tie tech outcomes to business value.
• Foster executive relationships and align cross-functional priorities.
• Oversee budgeting, vendor, and headcount planning with ROI focus.
• Convert engineering progress into clear executive narratives.
• Pilot internal AI tools to improve productivity and reporting.
