Job summary

Lumen is seeking a senior leader to spearhead the MTA team, our go-forward ticketing platform, and drive AI-enabled improvements across multiple networks. You will manage development, coordinate automation initiatives, and represent senior leadership in communicating platform direction to customers and internal teams.

The role emphasizes ownership, measurable impact, and collaboration with Service Assurance, Global Field Services, and IT stakeholders to elevate performance and user experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; 6+ years in related field; 2+ years in management.
• Experience implementing orchestrated workflows and network control environments.
• Expert knowledge of IP, Transport, Access, and voice/VoIP networks.
• Proficient with GitHub, Itential, Java, JSON, and Ansible.
• Proven ability to form and manage a development team from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Lead the MTA team as the go-forward ticketing application, driving adoption and continuous improvement.
• Advance AI-driven initiatives to enhance network reliability, ticketing efficiency, and customer experience.
• Coordinate cross-technology efforts to support automation development across Transport, Ethernet, IP, MPLS and Voice.
• Oversee automation enhancements and integration across legacy networks.
• Direct on-call and incident communications with internal and external stakeholders.
