Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Senior MTA Lead to head the My Ticketing Application team, delivering and evolving ticketing solutions across multiple networks. You will drive platform adoption, performance, and AI-powered improvements, coordinating across engineering, IT, and operations.

The role requires strong leadership, in-depth knowledge of IP/Transport/VoIP, and a track record of building and guiding development teams to meet demanding service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of related experience with 2+ years in managerial role.
• Experience implementing orchestrated workflows and network control environments.
• Deep knowledge of IP, Transport, Access, and voice/VoIP networks and large-scale operations.
• Experience forming and leading a development team from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Lead the MTA team as the go-forward ticketing application, driving adoption and improvements.
• Advance AI initiatives to enhance network reliability and customer experience.
• Support automation development across Transport, Ethernet, IP, MPLS and Voice networks.
• Coordinate development discovery and program management for command-and-control automations.
• Interface with IT and engineering to align MTA enhancements and AI projects.
• Direct subordinate managers and teams; ensure on-call support.
• Collaborate with peer organizations to share product information and innovations.
