Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or engineering emphasis required.
• 7+ years related experience with 2+ years in a managerial role.
• Experience implementing orchestrated workflows and network control environments.
• Strong understanding of systems development and development frameworks (GitHub, Itential, Java, JSON, Ansible).
• Experience forming and leading a development team from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Lead the MTA team and drive adoption, development, and continuous improvement of the ticketing platform across domains.
• Advance AI initiatives by prioritizing and executing AI-driven projects that improve reliability and customer experience.
• Coordinate global automation and support for transport, Ethernet, IP, MPLS and VoIP networks at senior engineering levels.
• Oversee discovery and coordination for command-and-control automations used by NOC and Technical Support, interfacing with planning and IT architecture.
• Drive automation across legacy networks and contribute to network strategy and modernization.
• Collaborate with IT to set priorities for large-scale app initiatives, including MTA enhancements and AI projects.
• Direct/mentor subordinate managers and teams; handle on-call and high‑stake customer communications.
