Job summary

Lumen is seeking an experienced leader to head the MTA team, our go-forward ticketing platform, and guide developers across verticals with a focus on Service Assurance and Global Field Services. You will drive platform improvements, performance, and user experience while championing AI initiatives.

This is a high‑responsibility role with 7x24x365 support expectations. You will interact with IT architecture, engineering, and external customers to communicate strategic direction, coordinate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years related experience, incl. 2 years in a managerial role.
• Experience implementing orchestrated workflows and large-scale networks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the MTA team as the go-forward ticketing application and drive adoption and continuous improvement.
• Advance AI-driven initiatives to enhance network reliability and customer experience.
• Coordinate cross-technology automation and support for global networks at a high technical level.
• Oversee discovery, planning, and integration of automation across planning, deployment, and IT.
• Interface with IT to drive MTA enhancements and AI projects across operations.
• Manage subordinate managers, teams, and independent contributors and ensure on-call coverage.
