Job summary

Bitdeer seeks a Director, AI Datacenter Construction to lead the delivery of multiple concurrent AI data center builds across its U.S. portfolio.

You will own construction execution from site diligence and design through energization, Level 1-5 commissioning, and turnover to operations, with accountability for safety, schedule, cost, and quality on every site. You will lead site construction managers and discipline leads, set one delivery playbook across all builds, and manage general

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/electrical/mechanical or related field.
• 12+ years in data center, mission-critical, or large-scale construction.
• 5+ years leading owner-side hyperscale or AI data center construction.
• Experience delivering liquid-cooled AI data halls.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction of multiple concurrent AI data center builds from diligence to energization and turnover.
• Build and mentor site construction managers and discipline leads; recruit hyperscale experience talent.
• Standardize construction processes, playbooks, and reporting across sites for faster, more predictable builds.
• Lead design package reviews to resolve constructability, cost, and schedule issues.
• Own budgets, EAC forecasts, contingency, and OFCI procurement; manage contractors and partners.
• Negotiate with tenants and coordinate stakeholder governance to protect schedule and scope.
• Enforce safety, QA/QC programs, and ensure compliance through turnover to operations.
